AHMADABAD: India has announced to construct a new naval base near Gujarat.
Indian defense minister will inaugurate the naval base on 9th May.
Chief Minister of Gujarat will also attend the ceremony.
Main purpose of this naval base is to increase the strength of maritime security.
This new naval base will be named as INS Sardar Vallabhbhai pattal.
It will be the second naval base on Gujarat.
