Karachi University Closed Down And Papers Suspended

KARACHI – Students are protesting and blocked the roads against the target killing of the Professor of Karachi University on Wednesday.

According to postmortem report, Assistant Professor was hit 5 bullets in the upper part of his body and he died before reaching the hospital.

The funeral of the Professor to be offered after at around 7pm in Karachi.

The protest of the students hindering the flow of traffic on the university road.

The vice Chancellor of the University highly condemn the killing of Assistant Professor of the Mass Communication Department.

Vice Chancellor said that teachers and professors of the Karachi University are not safe.

The leader of MQM, Altaf Hussain, also condemns the killing of Professor Waheed ur Rehman and demanded the authorities to probe the target killing in Karachi.

According to police, the bullets were fired from the 9mm pistol which was once recovered from the target killers of MQM during the raid in Nine-Zero.

DSP Azizabad said that the Professor received 5 bullets while 8 shells have been found from the place of the incident.

The shells have been sent to the forensic laboratory for test and investigation.

University has been shut down as a part of protest against the killing of Assistant Professor in Karachi on Wednesday.
