FPSC Issues The Allocation Of Seats For CSS 2014

ISLAMABAD – Federal Public Service Commission confirms the allocation of seats for different groups of competitive examination held in the year 2014 on Monday.

The total number of seats to be allocated against the competitive exam 2014 is 229, out of which 37 seats are reserved for minorities and 49 are reserved against the women quota.

The sum of 19 seats is allocated against the merit all across the Pakistan.

Punjab gets the 50% of the total seats with 102 for open merit seats, while seats for minorities and for women are allocated as 18 and 12 respectively.

The Sindh rural could manage to get 29 seats with minorities and women getting 3 and 12 seats respectively.

Sindh Urban also gets the same share as Sindh rural with 29 seats in all, while minorities and women claiming 4 and 7 seats respectively.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, total of 23 seats are allocated with minorities taking 6 seats and women taking 7 seats.

The number of allocated seats for Balochistan is 14, while seats for minorities and women are 2 and 3 respectively.

The number of seats for Gilgit-Baltistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on open merit is 10, while for minorities it is fixed as 2 and for women it is maintained on 3.

Three seats are allocated against the open merit quota in Azad Kashmir with one each for minority and women quota.
