KARACHI – The speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani, said on Monday that Sindh Assembly is under severe threat of terrorism.
He said while talking in the Sindh Assembly that, “I have written a letter to the Inspector General (IG) Sindh to provide full proof security in and out of the new Sindh Assembly Building.”
The speaker said that we have received intense warning regarding the terror attack on the Provincial Ministers of Sindh and on the Sindh Assembly.
He said that request has been made to Director General Rangers Sindh and Inspector General Sindh to provide security to the Sindh Assembly to ensure the safe ins and outs of the building.
He said that Security camera and more security to be deployed in the Sindh Assembly.
The passage leading to the Sindh Assembly should also be made secure to provide safe passage to the Provincial Ministers Sindh, he writes in the letter.
