We Need To Develop The Culture Of Reading; Pervaiz Rasheed

ISLAMABAD – While addressing in the inaugural ceremony of the Book Reader Day of National Book Foundation the Information Minister, Pervaiz Rasheed, said that we need to promote the culture of book reading.

The National Book Foundation has organized a National Book Day Ceremony here in Pak-China Friendship Center to mark the Book Reader Day in Pakistan.

The National Book Day Festival will be continued from April 22 to April 26.

While addressing on the day of start of the festival Pervaiz Rasheed said that we need to create harmony among the readers and writers.

Readers should be encouraged to read more and more books to groom their personalities, he added.

He said that our nation has failed to come up to the mark to establish the reading habit which is essence for the skillful mind.

Writers should keep in mind the taste and standard of the reader while writing the books, he added.
