ISLAMABAD: The president of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain called a joint session of parliament on April 21.
China’s President Xi Chen Ping open his official visit to Pakistan, will address the joint session.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, the decision of joint session of Parliament is taken by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 9:25 am.
Sources say that including China’s First Lady, the 60-member delegation, will attend the meeting as a guest.
According to parliamentary news sources, security of the Parliament House will be monitored by Triple One Brigade during the address of President Xi Chen Ping to the joint session.
Ministers, governors, chiefs of Army, diplomats and other dignitaries will attend the Parliament joint session as a guest.
On the other hand, preparations for Chinese president arrival in Pakistan has been completed. Chinese president will visit Pakistan on April 20.
