MOSCOW: The military of Russia and Pakistan will help their resistance collaboration in the impending month, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Wednesday amid his visit to Russia.
“We consented to improve participation in both safeguard industry and military preparing,” Asif said in the wake of meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu.
Military ties between the two states go back to the 1960s and 1970s when Pakistan imported resistance hardware from the Soviet Union. In November 2014, Russia and Pakistan marked an arrangement on participation between their safeguard services.
Asif is in Moscow to take part in the 4th gathering on universal security, to be held in the Russian capital on April 16-17.
The meeting will unite defense ministers from Russia, Pakistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, Argentina, Indonesia, Iran, Serbia and South Africa, and additionally heads of worldwide associations and charities.
The occasion has been composed by the Russian Defense Ministry to reconstruct confide in the military-to-military cooperation between states and examine joint endeavors to counter terrorism.
