Money laundering case: Altaf Hussain’s bail extended till July

LONDON: Crown prosecution has extended the bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain till July in money laundering case.

Crown prosecution gave the judgment after reviewing the MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s statement which was recorded by New Scotland Yard today.

According to sources, he was asked at least 800 questions in last 8 hours.

Earlier, Altaf left his home in northwest London earlier accompanied by MQM leaders Babar Ghauri, Farooq Sattar and his legal team, to visit the police station on Tuesday morning.

Two Police officials of Metropolitan Police were interrogating the MQM Leader, it was anticipated that Altaf Hussain might appealed the Police to grant Bailment again.
