Emergency in Hamilton College after bomb threat

NEW YORK: Hamilton College has been evacuated following a suspicious bag recovered from the collage, local media reported on Monday.

According to details, Police is telling students and staff to move inside and lock their doors while they investigate a possible shooter and a bomb threat at the Kirner-Johnson Building on Monday morning.

There has been a partial evacuation of the South Campus. Those in McEwen, Milbank, Babbitt, Cafe Opus and Schamback were evacuated to the Field House.

Specialized responders came from Albany to investigate a suspicious package.

The shelter in place has been extended to the entire campus.

Authorities are instructing everyone at the school to do the following: ”Move inside.  Lock doors if possible, draw curtains, stay away from windows.”
