LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan said that they are trying to make South Africa’s under 19 team for Pakistan tour.
Shehryar Khan talking to media said that PCB has given surety to provide every type of security to South African under 19 team.
He said that he is quite sure that team will tour the country for a series.
Shehryar said that Zimbabwe tour of Pakistan is in final stages, which is expected in May this year.
If all the matters with Zimbabwe cricket are solved then team will arrive in Pakistan on May 15, PCB chairman.
He further said that they have failed to invite arch rivals India for the tour in past two year but if they agree to play home series in Abu Dhabi it will be very great.
PCB chairman revealed that the board is also in talks with Ireland and Netherland which are going quite well.
Talking about selection committee he said that he has given task to them to create a strong side for World Cup 2019.
Unfit players don’t have any place in the team, Shehryar.
