Dzhokhar Tsarnaev: ‘guilty’ of Boston Marathon bombing

Boston: United States court approves Dzhokhar Tsarnaev convicts of Marathon bombing 2013 who was arrested as a suspect.

However, the bomb injured 3 people killed 264 people.

During the trial, the accused of bombing was also found guilty of killing a policeman during his arrest after four days of bombing.

Near 30 criminal cases has been approved on 21-year-old suspect in US court whereas 17 charges are those which including the punishment of the death penalty or life imprisonment.

After the bombing Tsarnaev and his brother tried to escape from police but while chasing his brother and a police officer was killed.

During the trial, counsel for the accused contended that the trial has been accused in the incident of 15 April 2013 and has been involved in bombing; however, he argued in court that he did so at the behest of his brother who died during a police encounter.

The prosecutor in the trial court also accused a Chechen origin in the bombing that came to US from Russia a decade ago, and presented evidence regarding the involvement of the accused and said that before the attack he had heard and read jihadi literature.

He also wrote a letter that in which he states that he is going to do so in reaction to the US troops operations in Muslim countries.

The prosecutor referred to an article of the suspect’s which was published in a magazine of al-Qaeda which was about the bomb-making procedures.

He said that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is an extremist and wanted to punish the United States.
