LG G4 price, release date, features, rumours, release date and more

SEOUL: As LG is eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone LG G4, let’s have a quick overview of the device.

LG had unveiled its flagship smartphone LG G3 last year back in May but this time the company has decided not to wait till May as the device will makes its debut on April 28.

The LG G3 made the strong impact in the smartphone market with its brilliant display and about the same or little more expectation about the device already been made.

IF there’s one thing that we didn’t like about the LG G3 it was that it’s plastic case felt a little cheap. Unfortunately, if latest reports are to be believed, the LG G4 will not have a metal body, either.

A report on ZDNet Korea (Google Translate version), says that LG will not be ready to manufacture metal-bodied phones until the second half of the year.

Although the LG G3 had one of the biggest screens of any of the flagship handsets, the latest rumours think that the screen size will move from 5.5in to 5.6in. Smartphone leaker @OnLeaks released this information a few days ago in a short, but to-the-point tweet.

This follows previous information from @OnLeaks, which listed the dimensions of the LG G4 as, 148.9Ă—76.5Ă—9.9mm; in other words, slightly bigger than the LG G3.

As a high-end smartphone, the LG G4 is going to have the specifications to match. A leaked file, shown on TechManiacs, shows that the LG G4 will have a Snapdragon 810 64bit CPU and 3GB of RAM. This is a clear and obvious choice for the phone, as Android Lollipop is 64bit ready.

LG is said to be focusing on the camera for the G4 launch. It’s said to have a 20-megapixel sensor in the works, although the leak on TechManiacs points to a 16-megapixel camera with a resolution of 5,312×2,988. That’s a aspect ratio of 16:9, which is wider than the typical 4:3 of most compact and smartphone cameras.

So for this time on bases of above information we can say that LG is up for something big to take on Samsung, Apple and Sony in the smartphone market.
