Turkishpresident accepts Iran’s invitation for a visit

TEHRAN: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accepted Iran’s invitation and is all set to pay an official visit to the country on Tuesday.

During his visit to Tehran, which will be the first presidential visit to Iran from Turkey in the last four years, Erdogan will exchange his views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest with President Rouhani, said a joint statement issued by Tehran on Saturday.

The Turkish president is also scheduled to meet Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the statement added.
