SYDNEY: Australia posted a huge 328 runs total against India in the 2nd semifinal of ICC cricket World Cup at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Australia had won the toss and elected to bat first against India, as the Aussies lost their first wicket with just 14 runs on the score board.
Then Steven Smith and Aaron Finch posted 182 runs partnership for second wicket and guide the total to 197 runs mark.
Smith was that man dismissed after scoring outstanding 105 while Finch lost his wicket after scoring 81.
Shane Watson smashed 28 to guide the total to 328 runs on loss of 7 wickets. This is also the first time that a side reach 300 mark in the Semifinals of World Cup.
Umesh Yadav picked up four wickets for Indian side.
