SIALKOT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that the ongoing targeted action in Karachi was being taken against criminals not any political party.
Addressing members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the PM announced plans to construct Sialkot-Lahore expressway.
He said that Karachi operation was against criminals and it would continue till elimination of all the criminals.
He further said that the government was trying to restore complete peace in Karachi.
He added that gun culture will be eradicated from the whole country.
Speaking about Operation Zarb-e-Azab, he said it was going on successfully eliminating terrorists’ hideouts and that the nation must pay tributes to those who have sacrificed their lives for this cause.
He went on to say that politicians are criticised but what have the dictators given the nation. He further said that there was no allegation of corruption against the government.
