Pakistan decides to hand over two Imran Farooq murder’s suspects to UK

ISLAMABAD:  Government of Pakistan has reportedly decided to hand over the two suspected Pakistanis nationals, who are reportedly involved in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq, to the UK.

Sources said that the decision was taken in the wake of recent developments in the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi especially the raid on MQM headquarters and subsequent arrest of criminals and wanted people, who have made startling revelations about MQM and its leadership alleged involvement in killings and other crimes.

Scotland Yard suspected that the two Pakistanis Mohsin Ali Syed and Kashif Khan Kamran  were responsible for the killing of Dr Imran Farooq.

They said that earlier UK had filed at least four written requests to Pakistan demanding to repatriate the two men. Earlier Pakistan had been resisting the UK demand, however in wake of recent development the government has decided to hand over them to UK.

It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan had been alerted within hours after Dr Imran Farooq’s killing that it should monitor the flights reaching Pakistan, especially all those passengers who have left from the UK, either taking direct or indirect flights into anywhere in Pakistan.

It was through this collaboration that Pakistani spies successfully got their hands on the right men but went completely mum after getting confessions from these men that they had executed MQM’s former convener.
