Sharma ton helps India to score 302 against Bangladesh

MELBOURNE: Rohit Sharma scored his first World Cup century as India posted a huge 303 runs target against Bangladesh.

Rohit Sharma smashed 137 under pressure and helped the defending  champions to post a huge total of 302 runs on loss of 6 wickets.

India off to a flying start as opening pair posted 70 for first wicket, then Bangladesh fought back as they picked up three quick wickets.

But Suresh Raina and R Sharma posted 122 runs partnership which took the game away from Bangladesh. Raina lost his wicket after scoring 65 while Sharma went on to score a big hundred.

Taskin Hossain picked up three wickets for the side.
