Saeed Ajmal all set for World Cup return, submit passport to PCB

LAHORE: Pakistan superstar off-spinner Saeed Ajmal has given his passport to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and said that he is ready to play World Cup.

Saeed Ajmal further said that he is completely fit and ready to take part in place of injured Mohammad Irfan in World cup.

He further said that he is bowling regularly and now ready to serve Pakistan once again. ‘

It is pertinent to mention here that PCB chairman Shehryar Khan had hinted at Saeed Ajmal return following the Irfan’s injury.

Shehryar said that if Pakistan qualify for the semi-final then they will send Irfan’s replacement which is possibly Saeed Ajmal.

Earlier, Mohammad Irfan had been ruled out from the world cup after suffering the hip injury during a pool match against South Africa.
