KARACHI: The Sindh government on Monday evening imposed a ban on pillion-riding in Karachi during anti-polio campaign which will continue till March 23.
According to the Sindh Home Department, the ban will be effective from Tuesday midnight (March 17) and will stay in place until Monday March 23.
The ban is being imposed for the security of the ongoing polio vaccination drive in the city, said a statement from the provincial home department.
