Inzamam praises Sarfraz say, wicket keeper reminded him class of Javed Miandad

LAHORE: Pakistan former skipper and legendary cricketer Inzamam ul Haq said that wicket keeper cum batsman Sarfraz reminded him legendary Javed Miandad.

Former skipper Inzamam ul Haq said that Sarfraz played similar knock which legend Javed Miandad used to play.

Sarfraz showed Miandad’s art of rotating the strike, he said.

Promoting Sarfraz up in the order gave cushion to middle order, Inzamam said.

Great batsmen are those who finish off the game and do not lose concentration after scoring 50s, 60s or 70s. Sarfraz has all these ingredients, he said.

He included that whenever batsman takes singles and twos ,it not only disturbs and frustrates the bowler but disallows them to explore the weak areas of batsman and that’s what Sarfraz did on Sunday.
