KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan is in custody of Rangers, Rangers spokesman said.
The spokesman said that no any MQM workers arrested have been released which were taken into custody in the raid at its party headquarter 90 earlier in the day.
All arrested MQM workers would be presented before the court on Thursday, the spokesman added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Rangers carried out a raid early in the morning at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarter Nine Zero and arrested several people and other leaders.
MQM leader Aamir Khan is also in rangers custody for further investigation regarding the arrested workers.
The Party declaring that several of MQM leaders had been arrested.
Rangers also recovered heavy duty weapons from the headquarters in the targeted operation carried out early hours of Wednesday.
MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi, while speaking to Express News, condemned the raid at a time when the country needs unity to fight war against terrorism.
Rizvi, on behalf of MQM chief Altaf Hussain, asked party supporters to not take law in their hand and stay calm.
MQM worker Waqas, who worked at party’s information department, was killed because of the shooting.
