KP govt decides to retract health, local bodies ministries from allied parties

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Monday decided to take back the ministry of local bodies and ministry of health from its allied parties, Dunya News reported.

It is pertinent to mention here that the KP government was altering its cabinet for the fourth time.

According to party sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) will retract local bodies ministry from Jamaat-e-Islami and health ministry from Awami Jamhori Ittehad Pakistan (AJIP).

Earlier, PTI’s MPA Shaukat Yousafzai was the health minister which was later transferred to AJIP’s Shahram Tarakai.

The PTI provincial leadership of the KP has informed allied parties regarding the decision.

Moreover, PTI Chief Imran Khan will visit Peshawar in the next week and will review the matters by himself whereas he will also announce the name for the vacant seat of Deputy Speaker in KPK assembly.
