‘I used to graze goats besides going to school in my childhood’: Sirajul Haq  

ISLAMABAD: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan, Sirajul Haq has said that besides going to school he also grazed goats in his childhood. He said that Jamat-e-Islami will emerge as one of the major public party in future.

 
Sirajul Haq that no scandal emerged against him, saying that even his opponents admit it. He said that has wheat, maize and rice from his native land besides receiving the salary as member provincial assembly.
He said that he used to go to school traveling the distance of 8 kilometers daily by foot, saying that when he was studying in college he used to work and earn during vacations for meeting the expenses of hostel.
 

Sirajul Haq said that Jamat-e-Islami is a democratic party and therefore, the party members had confidence on him for promoting the cause of the party and elected him as Ameer of the Jamat.
He said that he respects Syed Munawar Hasan, saying that Syed Munawar Hasan conveyed him the news of being elected as Ameer of the Jamat while he was coming to home.
He said that members of the party elected him Ameer but even today he gets guidance from Syed Munawar Hasan at every hour and at every minute.
Sirajul Haq was expressing these views in an interview with a private TV channel. He said that Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) is one of the major organizations and always had its existence everywhere, saying that Jamiat also conducted accountability of its members.
He said that World Bank terms the performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finance as better in the history of the Pakistan while writing a letter to the finance of the province when he was finance minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, saying that federal finance minister, Ishaq Dar also praised the budget prepared by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in the national assembly.
