PM says will meet everyone to strengthen the democracy in country

LAHORE: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Sunday stated that the government is working on 22nd amendment to halt horse trading for Senate elections. Prime minister said he will meet everyone to strengthen the democracy in country.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Jati Umra and discussed key issues including economy and ongoing political situation of the country.
During the meeting, preparations regarding Senate elections were also taken under consideration. Chief Minister informed the prime minister about the overall law and order situation of the province. The development projects of Punjab were came under discussion during the meeting.
 

On this occasion, PM Nawaz assured to make corruption-free politics and expressed that the welfare of nation lies in the consolidation of democracy.
