Kareena and her mother, Babita, had bought two 3-bedroom-hall-kitchen (BHK) flats on the sixth floor of Rose Queen building in Khar and combined them into one large flat with three bedrooms, two halls and two kitchens. The flat has a carpet area of at least 2,050 sq ft
The flat had been in the real estate market for at least three years, the report stated.
The report quoted a real estate agent, who had also shown the flat to one of his clients, saying that price of the flat was a bit higher due to the celebrity quotient attached to it and it had been in the market for a long time.
