Another relief consignment sent for avalanche-hit people of Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Sunday dispatched another two planes load of emergency relief goods for avalanche hit people of Afghanistan.

 
Relief assistance has been sent on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as gesture of solidarity with the people of Afghanistan.

The relief items consisting of essential food items, tents, blankets and medicines were received by head of Shura-e-Panjsher, General Din Muhammad Jurat and Director General of Afghanistan Management Authority Dr. Muhammad Daim Kakar and Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan.
Receiving the relief goods, the Afghan Ambassador expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the government and the people of Afghanistan for Pakistan this generous and timely support.
