RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif on Thursday categorically said to India that “let there be no doubt that any provocation along LOC and Working Boundary will meet a befitting response.” ISPR said.
The Army chief said this while visiting Sialkot working boundary area most affected by Indian violations to express solidarity with villagers affected by Indian unprovoked firing and violations, at the occasion the COAS paid rich tributes to their resilience.

Gen Raheel Sharif also met troops and local residents and said that the nation united in defense of motherland.
The army chief said that repeated Indian cease fire violations on working boundary and line of control in in recent past was aimed at distraction for Pakistani forces from its campaign against terrorism and to disturb regional stability.

The COAS also was briefed on latest situation on the LOC and working boundary.
