Younis Khan decides to quit one day cricket: reports

LAHORE: After continual bad performance in one day internationals Pakistani batsman Younis Khan has decided to quit the ODI career, media reported.

Younis Khan announced retirement from the one-day version of the game after coming under fire from all sides over his poor performance in the cricket’s biggest show World Cup 2015 underway in Australia and New Zealand.

According to sources, Khan’s retirement from 50-over international matches will take effect after the end of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2015.

Khan, who got public appreciation three months ago after pulling off four Test tons, has drew criticism after the team’s crushing World Cup losses.

Pakistani cricket experts were also pointing fingers on Younis Khan over his humiliating performance against India and West Indies and recommending him to step down from the ODI’s.

The cricket experts say that he was included in the team for his experience but he could not show up his any talent in the World Cup and before in ODI’s.
