ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has issued a show cause notice to Geo News, local media reported on Tuesday.
According to details, the objection was taken on talk show “Naya Pakistan” hosted by Talat Hussain aired on Geo News on 22nd February 2015.
The programme was the second part of the show aired in 2005 hours with Allama Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi as Guest.
Whereas, a number of complaints have been received by Authority about the content of the referred that has been termed as derogatory about a particular sect.
