PCB calls back Moin Khan from Australia

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday immediately called back chief selector of Moin Khan from Australia to clear his position over his alleged visit to casino in Australia.

The PCB has taken decision in hurriedly called meeting over controversy of the chief selector visit to casino.

Talking to media in Lahore the PCB chairman Shahar Yar Khan informed the media about the decision of the board.

The Chairman has made team manager Naveed Akram Chemma as selection committee head in absence of Moin khan and coach Waqar Younis, captain Misbah Ul Haq will be member of the selection committee.

The PCB had initiated a probe into Moin Khan’s visit to a Christchurch casino ahead of the teams match against the West Indies.

The board had tasked team manager Naveed Akram Cheema to conduct the probe who presented his findings to the PCB Chairman.

 It is pertinent to mention here that reports had appeared in media that the chief selector of Pakistan team had visited casino in Christchurch  a head of  Pakistan vs West Indies match.

Moin Khan first said that he had visited the casino to check the players after that he took his statement back also apologized on the statement.

On Monday the PCB chairman informed to media that Moin Khan  admitted that he visited the casino to eat dinner.
