Shikarpur Shuhada Action Committee end Karachi sit-in after successful talks with govt

KARACHI: The Shikarpur Shuhada Action Committee on Thursday announced to end its three-day long protest sit-in at Numaish Chowrangi after successful talks with Sindh government.   

The Shuhada Action Committee was protesting since Tuesday night at Numaish Chowrangi in Karachi after marching from Shikarpur to Karachi against the suicide attack on an Imambargah in Shikarpur that claimed over 60 people.

Addressing a press conference at the CM House accompanied by Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, Allama Domki reiterated that their campaign was not against the Sindh government but rather against the menace of terrorism.

Announcing a success in the talks with the Sindh government, the Chairman said that he was hopeful that immediate actions will be taken according to the charter of demands .

Domki thanked the provincial government especially the Chief Minister for accepting the protesters demands .
