Petroleum products’ price likely to go up

ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products are expected to increase in Pakistan by up to Rs 4.50  per liter.

According to sources, as per initial estimates oil prices will go up by up to Rs 4.50 per litre.

The price of petrol will go up by Rs 3.97 per liter, High Speed Diesel by Rs 4.50, Kerosene oil by Rs 2.67 and Ligh Diesel oil by Rs 2.61 per litre.

It is pertinent to mention here that government has increased the General Sales Tex (GST) on petroleum products to 27 percent owing to the declining trend in international oil price.
