Legislation is on the cards to curb cyber crimes: Anusha

ISLAMABAD:Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rahman Khan says legislation is on the cards to curb cyber crimes.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad she said the government is committed to provide better internet facilities to the people across the country. The access to the internet in the country is increasing and our effort is to expand its reach to the un-served areas.
She said we are cooperating with different companies to bring technology revolution. This will help generate many job opportunities for the youth.
She said Pakistan has almost prepared its1st URDU language search engine to support users. 
Later addressing the seminar, Minister for Planning Commission of Pakistan Ahsan Iqbal said under vision 2025, Pakistan will be made hub of information technology. Efforts are afoot to enhance standard of higher education in order the achieve this very vision.
