PML-N Punjab Minister disqualified for life

MULTAN: An election tribunal in Multan has disqualified for life for contesting election a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz  MPA and former minister Chaudhry Abdul Waheed Arain  on charges of having dual Identity Cards.

The election tribunal issued its detailed judgment in the case which it announced on Tuesday. The tribunal ordered re-election on PP-196 in its 23-page detailed judgment.

It is also pertinent to mention here that earlier the tribunal disqualified Punjab Minister for prisons for possessing two National Identity Cards.

The Petitioner had alleged that the minister has two ID cards and he deceived the petitioner and hence he should be declared disqualify.
