Income tax tribunal writes off outstanding tax of Misbah, Azhar Ali

LAHORE: Income Tax Tribunal has written off outstanding tax of Pakistan cricket team captain Misbahul Haq and test cricketer Azhar Ali amounting  to 3.7 million and 1.4, respectively for tax year 2010-2011.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has calculated the income tax of Pakistan skipper at 3.7 million tax for the year 2010-2011 and for Azhar Ali at 1.4 million rupees.

Misbah Ul Haq and Azhar have appealed in  Income Tax tribunal against the tax.

On Wednesday the income tax tribunal has written off taxes due on the duo.
