Imran says PTI not to withdraw its letter to UK HC seeking action against Altaf

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman continued its broadside against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Wednesday, saying that though Altaf Hussain apologized to PTI women for his indecent comment, but the issue of Baldia town factory fire was very serious as over 260 poor labourers were brunt alive in the incident.

Talking to media in Nowshera, PTI chairman asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take action against those behind burning alive of 260 labourers in Baldia Factory. He said that in the all parties conference, all political parties including PTI and MQM had given mandate to the government to take action against terrorists of all hues and colours and now its government’s responsibility to dismantle militants wings of political parties.

“Now  it is high time that now one should be allowed to keep arms except law enforcement agencies and cleanse the country of arms and terrorists,” he added.

He said that PTI would not withdraw its letter written to British High Commissioner against Altaf Hussain.

He said that whenever he tried to take legal action against MQM chief Altaf Hussain in London, UK authorities refused to proceed against him. “It is incumbent upon the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to ask British government to stopped Altaf from hate speech and incitement to violence,” he urged.
