LAHORE: As Misbah-ul-Haq announced his retirement after the World Cup now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering Fawad Alam’s name for new captain of Green-Shirts.
According to sources, PCB haven’t selected Fawad Alam in the World Cup squad on which cricketer was very disappointed, but now the selectors are considering his name for the captainship.
The sources told that PCB wants to introduce new players with new leader, for that Fawad Alam is most expected to lead the Green-Shirts after the World Cup.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan skipper Misbah and all rounder Shahid Afridi have announced their retirement from this format of the game.
