MQM chief apologies to Shireen Mazari, PTI women

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has apologized over his statement against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf women.

The MQM chief said to the PTI information secretary Shireen Mazari ‘ I am sorry’ adding that he did not want fight and wanted to work for the progress of the country.

Altaf Hussain also said that he also seeks apology to all pious women of the PTI who took part in sit-in.

It is pertinent to mention here that few days ago the MQM supremo used derogatory words against the PTI  information secretary and women of the party who took part in sit-in.

The PTI chief on Monday had hold press conference in Islamabad and strongly criticized the MQM chief and announced to file defamation petition against Altaf Hussain in Britain.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry had demanded an apology from MQM chief Altaf Hussain for making foul remarks against the party’s female members. Addressing a press conference on Monday,he had said Altaf Hussain should immediately apologise for his remarks on Sunday night address  about PTI women and particularly for Shireen Mazari. “If he did not apologise then PTI has all the rights to file a case against him,” he added.
