MQM condemns Imran’s ‘provocative’ speech against its chief

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday night strongly condemned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief allegations on the MQM supermo Altaf Hussain and declared the day most black in the history of Pakistan.

In an emergency press conference held at the party’s Nine-Zero headquarters in Karachi, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi and Faraq Sattar flanked by other Rabita Committee members addressed the media and condemned the derogatory remarks made by Khan against the MQM chief.

Rizvi said that the MQM activists resorted to complete endurance and discipline over the PTI chief provocative language against its chief.

The MQM leader rejected all the allegations leveled by the PTI chief saying that no any MQM’s activist involved in burning of Baldiya Town factory fire and declared Joint Investigation Team’s report baseless.

He also said the PTI leader Zehara Shahid was not murdered by the MQM activist.

Rizvi said that the PTI chief allegations were preplanned and like on the same lines of sit-in.
