Imran Yousuf’s appointment done on merit: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the appointment of the Chairman National Database and Registration Authority Imran Yousuf has been done on merit.

Meeting of the NADRA’s Board of Directors was held in Islamabad on Monday under the headship of Interior Minister. The meeting examined the performance of NADRA. The members welcomed new Chairman NADRA Imran Yousuf and appreciated the services of former interim chairman Imtiaz Tajwar.

Chaudhry Nisar said on this occasion that Imran Yousuf’s appointment was not done on the basis of favoritism. Nisar said that Imran was appointed on merit and directed him to improve the services provided by NADRA even further.
