Former governor Chaudhry Sarwar meets PTI chief

ISLAMABAD: Former governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohmmad Sarwar on Sunday called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan at his house in Bani Gala, Samaa News reported.

The former governor briefed the PTI chief about reasons behind his resignation from Punjab’s governor ship. The PTI chief appreciated his principal stand for resigning from his post.

Imran Khan on the occasion formally invited the former governor to join the PTI.

At the occasion the PTI leader Jehangir Tareen was also present.

The meeting was continued till filing of this report.

The PTI also confirmed that the former governor has met Imran Khan and the two leaders meeting was held in friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

Earlier the former governor has announced to take part in the country’s politics.
