Australia defeats India in first warm up match with big margin

ADELAIDE: Australia on Sunday defeated India by big margin of 106 runs in first warm up match of the World Cup 2015 at the Adelaide Oval.

The Kangaroos playing first scored huge total of 371 runs which included Explosive centuries by David Warner and Glenn Maxwell.

From Indian side three players  crossed fifty runs AM Rahane is on top with score of 66 runs while S Dhawan 59 and AT Rayudu made 53 runs.

Warner and Finch gave a sound start after Bailey had won the toss, rattling to 62 inside nine overs before Finch shovelled Stuart Binny to mid-on

India’s bowlers struggled to contain throughout, apart from a phase in which R Ashwin and Axar Patel put some clamp on the scoring by tying down Bailey. Warner’s hundred arrived in 80 balls.

Maxwell moved into full destruction mode after scoring fifty , clattering the bowlers with something like impunity and rendering MS Dhoni powerless to protect the boundaries. By the time he retired on 122 from 57 deliveries, Maxwell’s last 29 balls had reaped 88 runs.
