Hafeez to miss warm-ups due to calf injury

SYDNEY: Pakistan suffered a big blow as star all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez suffered calf injury.

Mohammad Hafeez who has been on a role since his comeback in 2009, now facing problems when just a few days remaining in the World Cup.

Pakistan already suffering his absence in the bowling unit, now it would be worst if Hafeez ruled out form any of the World Cup matches especially against India.

He will be unable to play in warm-up matches of the world cup. The bowler also due to give his official reassessment in three to four days as International Cricket Council (ICC) gave the new date.

It is pertinent to mention here that the bowler was scheduled to give his official test on Friday at Brisbane bio mechanics lab.

Earlier, Hafeez had been reported for suspect bowling action during Pakistan versus New Zealand series and was banned from bowling during Twenty 20 (T20) series back in December played in UAE.
