ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan tweeted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is the first in Pakistan to take action against timber mafia.
Imran Khan said in a tweet that PTI is determined to save environment and take on timber mafia in the province.
Environment protection is a PTI commitment and we are acting on it by moving against the timber mafia & implementing a Green policy for KP.

He further said that the mafia has devastated KP by cutting down trees worth over Rs 100 billion.
Anyone, including any politician, whatever his party affiliation, will be nabbed if found backing timber mafia. PTI acts on its commitments.
