PTA to join hands with NAB against corruption

ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Chairman NAB, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, NAB has proposed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to disseminate NAB’s message “Say NO to Corruption” to all the mobile phone subscribers before and during the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

On the directions of Chairman NAB, Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is aggressively pursuing “Awareness and Prevention” campaign throughout the country to curb corruption as NAB has been mandated under section 33C of National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) 1999 to educate and advise public authorities, holders of public office and the community at large on measures to combat corruption and corrupt practices.

Pakistan Cricket Team before leaving for ICC Cricket World Cup has already pledged and supported NAB’s cause by saying “Say NO to Corruption” for supporting the cause of creating awareness against the ill effects of corruption amongst the masses to join hands with NAB against corruption and corrupt practices.

The PTA has assured to disseminate NAB’s message “Say NO to Corruption” to all the subscribers of different mobile phone companies operating in Pakistan in order to create awareness among the masses to eradicate corruption.
