KWSB signs consultancy agreement for K-4 project

 KARACHI: As people of Karachi were facing water shortage in the city today’s development will make them somewhat happy as Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) signs agreement for consultancy on big project for providing water to Karachi K-4.

The KWSB has sign agreement with private firm for consultancy on the project. After completion of the project the mega city would get 260 million gallon of water every day.

The project will cost 25 billion rupees and the project will be completed in three years period.

Spokesman for Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) said that the consultancy on the project has been given to private and the agreement was sign by the Managing Director (MD) KWSB.

A land of more than 8000 acres will be needed for the project and a 6000 land will be provided by board of revenue while more than 1000 acre land will be purchased.
