WASHINGTON: As HTC eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone HTC One M9 now the device has been leaked in two variants.
The device which is scheduled to launch in next a few months now leaked online by a famous tipster @evleaks not one but in two variants.
The leaked image shows two unannounced HTC smartphones alongside previous leaks of the One M8, One M7, and the ditched HTC Edge.
Evleaks has an excellent track record when it comes to leaking yet-to-be-announced devices, but it’s still recommended to take this leak with a grain of salt.
If you look at the larger model of the purported HTC One M9 (far right), the home button bears a striking resemblance to Samsung home buttons, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if it served as a fingerprint scanner as well.
Additionally, the front camera and notification LED on both new HTC models appear to be relocated to the center, not on the right side as found in the One M7 and M8.
The “regular” HTC One M9 is expected to come with a 5-inch display, while the larger model should sport a 5.5-inch screen, just like Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus. Both variants may boast a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, albeit some rumors claimed the One M9 would come with the same full HD resolution as its predecessor.
Previous rumors have indicated that the HTC One M9 would pack an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel front shooter, and a 20-megapixel rear camera. The One M9 Plus, or M9 Ultra, may share similar specifications. On the software side, both models should come with Android 5.0 Lollipop on board.
Until HTC makes an official announcement, however, it all remains in the rumor state at this point. We’ll keep you up to date as soon as more information pops up, so check back.
