ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has convened high level meeting on Friday (tomorrow) to discuss law and order situation in Karachi.
The meeting will be held at Governor House Karachi.
The PM Nawaz Sharif will visit Karachi on Friday in wake of deteriorating law order situation of Karachi where he will chair high level meeting in the Governor House Karachi.
The meeting will review overall law and order situation of the economic hub of the country.
Governor Sindh Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Qayim Ali Shah, Inspector General (IG) of police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police, Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh and other security officials of Sindh will attend the meeting.
It is pertinent to mention here that security situation in Karachi has deteriorating for few days where Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has alleged that their party workers are being killed on the name of targeted operation in metropolis and the Sindh government is directly involved in these actions.
On the MQM appeal shutter down strike was also observed in whole of the province.
