KARACHI: Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah leveled serious allegations on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in his address to Sindh Assembly session on Tuesday, said that MQM workers had attacked CM House in Karachi during protests.
CM Sindh alleged, ‘With regrets, MQM workers carried out attack on CM House Karachi and refused to resolve matters by negotiations despite the fact that Sindh government had sent their representatives.’
He added that Sindh government had sent representatives to MQM protestors over recommendations of Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad Khan but the demonstrators rejected to listen anything.
He said that the protestors have not even filed First Investigation Report (FIR) against killing of their worker as far to pursue the case legally, and carried out regretful attack on CM House.
MQM lawmakers lodged strong protests in the Assembly during CM Sindh address to force him to stop his address but Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza urged CM Sindh to carry on his speech.
In the end, MQM lawmakers finally walked out of the house by raising anti-government slogans when CM Sindh advised them to listen their speech.
