Aerial strikes kill 35 militants in Datta Khail, says ISPR

RAWALPINDI: As many as 35 militants were killed in aerial strikes of Pakistan Army at Datta Khail area of North Waziristan, ISPR said.

Inter Services Public Relations said that the attacks were carried out at hideouts of the militants on Sunday morning.

Foreign militants were also among the dead, the ISPR claimed.

The Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been continuing since June last year.

Today Army Chief Raheel Sharif called upon China’s Central Military Commission Vice Chairman General Fan Changlong in Beijing today.

The Chinese Gen Fan showed solidarity with Pakistan and praised Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He termed it a decisive, bold, hard blow for terrorists, said ISPR. He assured Pakistan of full support in the operation.
